It’s been about 2 years now I’ve seen this band perform.  They started out as your normal run of the mill bar band playing everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Led Zeppelin, they even did a couple Queen covers (which I haven’t seen a lot of other bands due).  But over the years they’ve grown and finally made their own originals.

It was a while in the making but in April 2016 they released an EP called Rough Cutz that contains 5 songs.  Two of the songs they’ve also even made music videos for which are Storm and House of Love.  Storm is one of the those fist pumping in the air songs, and House of Love reminds me of the the wolf-man segment from The Hilarious House of Frightenstein when he start dancing to whatever song he’s playing.  Another song I like from their EP is Catching You, this song shows off the higher end of Kevin’s vocals and Greigg complements with his guitar nicely.

Their live show has also improved dramatically.  When I first saw them there wasn’t a lot of movement, some people looked like they were out of place and didn’t know what to do.  But the last time I saw them perform was opening for The Killer Dwarfs and Keven even started to bust out some moves on stage.  They’re gaining momentum and are starting to get traction in outlying areas instead of just playing in their home town.  For everybody who likes good old fashion rock check out Howzat’s website or Facebook and check out one of their shows.
