Now this is fair warning, if you do not like adult humour with strong language, or sexual content this band is NOT for you.  If you can handle anything the comedy channel will play between the hours of 11:00 pm – 4:00 am then you will like this band.

Now that the warning is complete, when you go to a Butch Haller concert you’ll be greeted by an old bald man in a sweater with a Fender guitar on stage.  The first thing that comes to mind is “What did I get myself into this time?”.  He’ll introduce himself and then you’ll be entertained by “his original songs, that everybody stole from him”.  Now I don’t normally listen to anything close to rockabilly but for Butch I’ll make an exception.

Now the first song I’ll mention is one he says a foreigner stole from him.  Dancing with Myself (the song Billy Idol stole) you can tell exactly what song it is when he plays the first note, OK this isn’t too bad.  Then the band starts and you start thinking “that’s not right” but then I notice that it’s faster and he kinds sounds like an Elvis impersonator.

But that’s just the start of the night, later on I heard Bad Romance, Karma Chameleon, and a little Crazy Train to top it all off.  Now there’s more songs in old Butch’s catalogue that haven’t been “stolen” yet by other artists, but I didn’t catch the names of them but they are very blunt and forward (he’s old so if it’s on his mind he’ll write a song about it) I think two of his originals are do you suck, and smell your di**.  Told you, he doesn’t use any colourful metaphors.

So in conclusion, if you get a chance to check out this band at your local bar go for it.  You’ll have a great time, but if you go to his you tube page you might be disappointed with his web show.
