Nail 1

Nail have been working together since 2006, they have released 3 albums and have opened for some big acts like Anvil and Warrant to name a few.  These guys are hard working and are not new to the stage as all of them have been in other bands in their past, most notably Rhino and C were in a little band called Helix.  Dale was in KAOS and The Edge to name a few. Darcy has been in the least amount of bands as he’s the youngest, some of them are Dwell, and Baked Goods.

Their live performance is excellent although some times it might be a little bassy at times depending on where they’re performing.  They’re interactive with the crowd and always entertaining, for example they have done videos that play as intros for some of their songs and as a visual during the whole show. They even made them 3D so you can have stuff flying at you while you’re drinking.

The only problem I constantly notice is their Cd’s are muffled.  To make it sound better I’m always changing the mid-range to make it full. But for their own music you can feel parts of classic Sabbath with a twist of Rush just to mention some of their influences that I could hear. They have strong in your face sound with a driving force behind it like “No Way Out” for example.

A few song I think you should check out would be Carpe Diem, Power and Greed, and Spider to round it out.
